Methodology

How this benchmark is built.

This benchmark is built on real statistics from the loyalty and referral programs of the e-commerce brands that use Loyoly. Data is updated automatically every Monday.

Period

Each metric covers the last 30 days of activity of each program, to reflect recent member engagement trends.

Sample

Only programs with sufficient volumes are included, so the figures are statistically reliable. A sector is published only from 20 brands.

Metrics

For each sector and KPI: the mean, median, top 10% and best-in-class (top 5% of programs). Cards and rankings show the mean. No weighting by company size or sales volume.

Distribution

Each bar shows the share of programs within a range of values. The axis stops at the 99th percentile: the few extreme values are grouped in the last bar.

Trend

Tracking starts with June 2026 data, then the trend is updated every month.

Comparisons

Trends are read within a single sector, from one month to the next. The only exception: each sector profile is positioned against the cross-sector average (index 100). No individual brand data is published, only sector-level aggregates.
